CETP – Vapor Distribution

$239 – $349Vapor Distribution is a three-day continuing education seminar geared toward the service technician or personnel involved in vapor distribution. Students will take a number of quizzes and tests in order to assess their pace of learning. A multiple choice test will be administered at the end of the class. Topics covered in this class but not limited to: preparing tanks and cylinders for transporting; locating underground utilities and services; preparing foundations; installing regulators; sizing distribution lines, copper tubing, steel piping and corrugated stainless steel tubing; performing pressure tests on gas distribution lines; performing leak checks, flow checks; operating pressure requirements; placing appliances into service; documenting and recordkeeping; communicating safety information to customers. Tests are graded by a third party and the results are mailed to each company.

Who Should Attend?
Propane industry personnel who have previously completed CETP Module 1: Basic Principles and Practices and would like to expand their training to include vapor distribution.
Additional Information
MO-PERC funding underwrites the cost of student and test materials as well as a copy of 2020 NFPA 58, pencils, markers and other materials. Lunch and break refreshments are provided. Other meals, lodging, and travel are not included.
